Alkemio

Alkemio is a free, open-source platform where individuals and organizations collaborate on finding creative solutions to complex problems.

Achieving systematic change in how we work together on challenges requires inclusion and transparency. Alkemio makes this possible by enabling an independent digital platform to support this way of working together on challenges. The platform has the purpose of using technology in a new way, a way in which digital tools and data aren't a means to exploit people but to benefit society.

But, how does Alkemio work? The platform is completely free, and there are no requirements to join. You can register as an individual or as an organization. The purpose is to innovate, develop, collaborate and make progress together.

Inside Alkemio, you will find several "hubs". These are smaller subcommunities focusing on a specific problem, often related to the business, climate change, or digitalization fields. Each hub contains diverse "challenges". These are problems that should be addressed for the hub's topic.

All members of a hub work together to propose solutions (you will find them by the name "opportunities" inside the platform) and creatively think of ways to solve the challenges of that specific hub.

Indeed, Alkemio allows you to collaboratively work with others to solve problems that interest you, thus connecting with like-minded people worldwide, and expanding your network and knowledge.
