Coding Coach is a network of volunteer developers that offer free mentorship to people looking to enter into or grow in the technology field.
There are no requirements to join the community. You can enter their Slack group for free, and immediately start to connect with thousands of like-minded developers worldwide. Inside this online group, you will find not only mentees but also mentors and people from the community's staff. Members use the group to ask questions, bounce off ideas, and share resources.
To find mentors, you can browse the community's full mentors list. There, you can choose a mentor that suits your specific needs, and agree on a schedule with them to start with the mentoring sessions. Mentors can help you both with technical/specific issues, but also with broader career topics.
On the other hand, if you are an experienced developer, you can join as a volunteer mentor. By doing so, you will be helping people worldwide who can't afford paid mentorship to enter the competitive technology industry.
