Gitcoin is a community for software developers that helps you to build open-source, decentralized projects through contests and funding.
The community has a Discord server with over 19,900 members from all over the world. To join is completely free and there are no requirements. Inside the online group, members ask questions, provide feedback, and join collaboration-based projects and contests.
Gitcoin offers you several ways to earn money, all payments are made in crypto. For example, the community's bounties are open freelance projects for developers. You can browse the different bounties to find the ones that fit your skills. This also allows you to network and collaborate with other developers in team projects.
Additionally, the community also offers hackathons and quests. Hackathons allow you to experience the experimental side of web3, finding creative solutions and gaining experience by building real projects. There are several hackathons per month. When you find one you'd like to join, the only thing left to do is to choose your prize and get to work.
