These events are held in different cities of the United States, for instance, Williamsburg or Harpers Ferry. To attend, members need previous registration. This is done through a form or via mail. In some cases, as in the Rendezvous event, meetings last between three and four days.

Learning Events

There is an annual learning event called Florida Surveying & Mapping. It is an annual conference for surveyors and mappers held in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. On the other hand, there are other virtual events such as webinars and virtual hubs.

Networking Events

Members interact through the community's online discussion forum. Topics are diverse since there are 16 different categories. For networking purposes, there is a thread to introduce yourself to the community. Members also talk about job offers and how to improve their skills as a surveyor. Another space serves the purpose to share the weirdest and funniest experiences you have had as a surveyor. Generally, there is a question for the week and members interact with it.

On the other hand, there is a podcast section. There are four series based on different topics: Surveyor says! NSPS Podcast, Measure this, The Geoholics Podcast, and Mentoring Mondays Podcast. Finally, you can find a space full of amazing resources (such as articles about surveyors) and other useful tools.
