Description

LXCouncil is a paid community that offers peer groups for CEOs to find clarity and guidance, save time, and grow their businesses faster.

The community has different Strategic Alliance Partners both in the United States and in the United Kingdom. Depending on the city you live in, you will participate in different groups, led by different moderators. Furthermore, all meetings are led by certified, trained moderators. They know exactly the methodology and agenda they have to use to lead the group effectively.

To join, you have to first participate in a discovery call with the community's founder, Tina Corner. If you are a good fit, you will be matched with a group of CEOs based on your experience and goals. This ensures everyone in the group can benefit from the insights and the feedback others share.

The pricing of the membership will depend on many factors. Factors include geography, length of the meeting, level of the group, if there is coaching or not, etc. Generally, the price varies per city size (in the United States):

  • Small markets: $350-$500/month.
  • Mid-size markets: $500-$1,900/month.
  • Large, metropolitan markets: $700-$1,900/month.

Overall, an annual membership can cost from $4,200 to $25,000.

On the other hand, members participate in monthly, in-person, four-hour meetings. All meetings take place on the same day, hour, and location, in one of the Strategic Alliance Partners' board rooms. Due to COVID restrictions, nowadays the groups meet bi-monthly, for two hours each meeting.

In these meetings, members talk about challenges and opportunities their business is facing right now. Furthermore, members participate in a roundtable discussion format. Each CEO shares feedback and insights based on their own experiences.

Quarterly, you will join a one-on-one accountability session with your moderator to update them on your business and the progress you have made over the past 90 days. Lastly, you will also have an annual strategic planning session, where you will share your company's vision and plan for the year.

Place
Meetings

As a member of LXCouncil, you will participate in monthly four-hour in-person meetings at one of the community's strategic partner board room locations. You may also participate in bi-monthly two-hour virtual meetings instead (due to COVID restrictions).

The LXCouncil CEO Peer Groups help you grow your business, reduce stress, gain time, and get a competitive advantage. You will be matched with similar CEOs based on your experience and goals, which will ensure the feedback you receive is relevant to you.

Each month, you will have to update the group on what progress have you made in your commitment from the prior month. Additionally, you will be asked the status of the question your peers helped you with in the last meeting. This is a great way to keep everyone accountable and make progress on each CEO's business.

On the other hand, you will also have quarterly achievement sessions. These one-on-one sessions with your moderator are designed to gain clarity on what's important and to plan your moves for the next 90 days.

Learning Events

Members of LXCouncil have access to the expertise of the community's Strategic Alliance Partners. These are the different moderators the community has across the United States and the United Kingdom. You can ask questions to your moderator and request advice on certain topics. Additionally, you will have access to webinars and special events both from LXCouncil and from the organization that moderates your group.

Networking Events

There are occasional social events for members of the groups to know each other and forge deeper relationships. These networking events can be online or in-person, and provide a more casual setting for members to expand their professional network and develop a sense of camaraderie with each other.

Content Library

The community offers its members strategic planning templates and tools, as well as best practices documents and learnings from previous meetings. Members also have available the LXCouncil's Knowledge Base, a collection of the most frequently asked questions by CEOs. The community has lots of resources and promotes practical concepts to help you run your business more effectively.

Courses/Cohorts

The CEOs' peer groups are composed of 10-12 owners of businesses with no conflict of interests. All meetings are led by a certified, trained moderator with many years of business experience. In each meeting, you will report how are you doing as a CEO, and how the business is doing as well. You will have the opportunity of raising problems, opportunities, and challenges your business is facing, and the group will give you their feedback and insights.

Every meeting is held in a roundtable discussion format, where each CEO hears different opinions on how to lead a business. There are diverse topics to focus on each month. Additionally, once a year you will share your company vision, strategic plan, and goals with the rest of the group, to gain understanding and feedback.
