Techqueria is an online free community for Latinx professionals in technology focused on helping them foster their careers.

Members of Techqueria have different roles in the technology industry. As a member, you can join the Slack group to interact with other tech professionals. Also, you can partner with the community or speak at events, which will help you gain visibility. Techqueria also receives volunteers and people interested in leading a local chapter in their cities.

The community hosts an annual event called "Latinx Heritage Month Summit". This is an event to learn from other speakers and network with like-minded tech professionals.

On the website, you will find a section of resources with 16 categories. These are distributed according to profiles, for example, students, writers, entrepreneurs, etc. Additionally, the community's job board allows you to upload a resume and find new career opportunities.

Members of Techqueria participate in an annual special event. It's a summit focused on empowering Latinx professionals in tech. It offers the chance to connect with other professionals and companies.

Moreover, the community has local chapters in different cities in the United States. These are Atlanta, Austin, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco Bay Area, Seattle, and Washington.

Networking Events

Members of Techqueria interact through a Slack group. They share ideas, thoughts, and job offers. It's also a space open to discussing tech issues. Members also interact by using a LinkedIn group and a Facebook group. Both options keep members actively involved in the community.

Content Library

On the website, there is a section of resources with 16 different topics. The format changes according to the topic. For instance, it's possible to find conferences and also external links or recommended readings. The community focuses the content on members' profiles. There is material for students, writers, and entrepreneurs. Apart from this, the community offers a bi-weekly newsletter.

Impact/ESG

Funds collected from the community's store are used to support its mission. The idea is to help and support Latinx tech professionals with resources and events that allow them to boost their careers.
