Description

Women in Industrial Design is a free community for people who identify themselves as females and are industrial designers.

Members of the community participate in learning events such as workshops, conferences, and webinars. Women in Industrial Design organize some of the events, while others are external. Additionally, there are also in-person networking meetups (in the United States) for members to meet each other and make new friends. Participating in those events is a great way to find like-minded peers to bounce off ideas and share knowledge.

Additionally, the community has a resources section with recommended readings, things to listen to, movies to watch, and other communities and causes to support. You can also find a newsletter and a blog with information about gender, race, equality, and its intersection with industrial design.

You can join the community for free by participating in the events or by becoming a volunteer.
