Founders Cafe is a virtual co-working space for founders who are building their own startups.
It costs $50 per month. The membership gives you access to a co-working space that's open 24/7, so people from all time zones can join. Currently, the community has 70 members from all over the world.
The co-working space is a great place to focus and work. You will find students of Standford, YC, Harvard, etc., building startups. Members mostly communicate via chat in the co-working space, sharing goals, to-do lists, and accomplishments. This helps members maintain accountability and keep the motivation intact. Also, you will get to know members over time, their journey, what their struggles are, and what they are working in.
This will inevitably lend to friendships with some of the most like-minded people, as well as professional connections that can be valuable for your career.
Founders Cafe works on Jitsi Meet. This is the platform they use for the co-working space and for community events. These events are at 8:30 am PT. Maddie, founder of Founders Cafe, will record these meetings or schedule extra meetings if some members can't make it at that time. Lastly, if you are in the United States you will be able to join occasional in-person meetups.
