Midjourney is an AI art service that allows you to generate images created by artificial intelligence based on input prompts on a Discord server.

To use the service, you need to join Midjourney's Discord server (which is free!). Then, you go to one of the "newbie" bot channels and type "/imagine". After that, you input a text prompt (it can be whatever you want). The bot will give you 4 images in about 60 seconds, and you can later get upscales or variations of those images.

As a free member, you have 25 free queries to test the service. Then, you need to buy a membership to keep using Midjourney's service. You can do this by typing "/subscribe" in the same channel. These are the currently available memberships:

• Basic Membership: Limited use (200 images/month), $10/month.
• Standard Membership: Unlimited personal use, $30/month.
• Corporate Membership: Single-user unlimited use, $600/year.

Besides generating images, the Discord server is great to interact with like-minded artists from all over the world. Inside, members share their artworks and explore other members' creations in theme-based image galleries. Additionally, you can find lively discussions not only on AI topics but also on philosophy and the future in general.

Moreover, you have several voice channels to talk in real-time with others and just hang out. Lastly, every Wednesday the community host office hours with Midjourney's founder inside the Discord server. You can join with other members to ask questions about Midjourney and interact with fellow peers.
