PAY IT FWD is an NGO that connects volunteer designers with non-profits who need design services or advice inside a Slack group.
If you are a creative or content creator, you must complete an application form to join. Then, you will enter a Slack group with the rest of the community's volunteers and non-profit organizations. PAY IT FWD gathers UX experts, graphic designers, photographers, content marketers, design thinkers, and more. You will be able to find like-minded creatives worldwide who are also donating their time and skills to causes they support.
To start collaborating, first, you need to browse the available projects and pick one that matches your skill set. Then, you present your portfolio to the organization and discuss the scope/other details. Lastly, you set the timeline and deliver your work. It's that simple. By doing this, you will not only be helping organizations that are actively working towards causes you support, but you will be also practicing your skills and building your portfolio.
On the other hand, non-profit organizations that desire to join PAY IT FWD must also complete a different application form. Then, they will be added to the Slack group to start interacting with volunteers.
