The Data Share is a free Discord server for data scientists. It was born of Towards Data Science, a collaborative publication on Medium.
Towards Data Science is a publication that features comprehensive, thoughtful articles on data science. The publication is on Medium, and its number of editors has radically increased since its inception in 2017. If you are a writer, you can submit your own articles for a chance to be published, getting you valuable visibility. Towards Data Science has over 635,000 readers that follow this independent publication. Additionally, they also host a podcast and deliver a weekly newsletter.
A portion of the team created a Discord server in 2020, The Data Share. This server is completely free and there are no requirements to join. Inside, members enjoy discussing all things data science, asking questions, requesting advice, and bouncing off ideas with each other.
