Description

The Young Entrepreneurs Council (YEC) is an exclusive, invitation-only community for young entrepreneurs (below 45). It was founded in 2010 by Scott Gerber & Ryan Paugh, two entrepreneurs who experienced the struggles of being young and lacking like-minded, younger peers to connect and share.

Since YEC is a paid community, you can expect to invest $1800 yearly to be a member. To join, your company has to make at least $1 million yearly and you must be less than 45 years old, among other things.

YEC organizes in-person gatherings across the United States for members to meet and network. Get to know your peers in happy hours, dinners, and special experiences like an annual retreat to a private mountain.

You can also join virtual webinars. In these members-led webinars, you can discuss business and leadership issues with other entrepreneurs and find solutions together. There is a library full of past webinars to access and deepen your learning experience.

On the other hand, the concierge team offers constant support to all YEC members. You can also access one-to-one coaching sessions with industry leaders and business owners.

Lastly, being a YEC member allows you to publish on big media sites like Forbes, to establish and promote your personal brand.

Meetings

YEC offers in-person gatherings to network and to talk about different business topics. They also have virtual meetings organized in the format of member-led webinars.

Meetings are organized with the purpose of sharing each member's most pressing issues and business worries. The rest of the people in your group will give you tailored advice based on their experience.

This allows a dynamic where everyone learns from the rest of the group's failures and successes, getting valuable insights that aren't acquired by a simple Google search.

Networking Events

YEC organizes an annual retreat to a private mountain to provide networking opportunities and make long-lasting connections with other members. It also arranges happy hours and dinners to bring members together around the country.

These events are ideal not only to amplify your professional network but also to connect on a deeper level with like-minded people that share your values and interests. From these types of events, that are more relaxed and chill, often true friendships can develop.

But besides events, you can always communicate with your group in the support forum, online, and anytime you need.

Content Library

Once you join, you will get exclusive access to an online support forum and to member webinars. You can also explore the library of past webinars to grow even more as a businessperson.
