Description

Ceiling Breakers is a community that offers group coaching for executives with over 5 years of experience from underrepresented groups (people of color, women, immigrants, LGBTQ+).

To join, you have to be a professional with at least 5 years of experience in your field and self-identify as someone that comes from an underrepresented group. The community teaches leadership skills to help you transform your mindset and grow in your career.

If you'd like to join Ceiling Breakers' Core Program, you first have to fill an application form. Seats are very limited, so the team recommends you present your application as soon as possible to be accepted into the next cohort. If they think you are a good fit, you will later participate in an interview.

The Core Program is a coaching program that lasts 3months. You will be attending 2 hour Zoom live meetings every two weeks with a small group of peers of 10-12 leaders. All coaches are professionals who have been working in startups or top companies for over 15 years. Additionally, between sessions, you will be having the support of an Accountability Partner. This person will be keeping you accountable to reach the goals you have set for yourself.

Besides the coaching sessions, you will have lifetime access to a Slack group with other leaders who are also students of the Core Program, along with your coaches. This group is great to exchange ideas, experiences, and insights. Furthermore, there are several events to further grow your knowledge. Events include talks with expert speakers, workshops, panel discussions, and fireside chats.

On the other hand, and once you finish the Core Program, you can become a member. The Ceiling Breakers membership includes monthly or bi-monthly coaching sessions, of two hours each. As a member, you will still have access to the Slack group and to every event that Ceiling Breakers host. The membership allows you to have ongoing support through coaching to face challenges that will be appearing while you grow professionally.

Furthermore, the membership gives you discounted access to one-on-one coaching if you need it. Lastly, keep in mind that the peer groups are not random. The community's team will match members according to their experience, background, and goals, so you will be in a group of similar people you can relate to.

Quote

"I feel so fortunate to have been able to participate in such a profoundly eye-opening experience alongside leaders from different walks of life. I've had coaching before, but this is the next level. The sessions were rooted in openness and vulnerability, and Anjani provided thought-provoking exercises and methods to help us get closer to the person we strive to be. As I continue to build my company, I feel even more prepared to handle any kind of uncertainty and challenge that comes my way." -Core Program Member
