Controllers Council is a paid community for controllers, CFOs, account managers, and other professionals interested in fostering their careers. The community offers a variety of programs focused on developing accounting and financial skills. They are directed to Executives, Vice Presidents and Chief Accounting Officers.
The resources are available in different formats: research reports, training webinars, articles, and newsletters. Also, there is a Resource Directory with more than 40 recognized companies, products, and services.
Controllers Council offers two memberships: an individual and a corporate membership. Both options include:

Learning Events
Controllers Council organizes many events per month. Those events are mainly webinars focused on tips or ways to do different career-related things. For example, "7 Ways Automation Improves Corporate Accounting Effectiveness" is a webinar that helps you better understand the benefits of automation for finance professionals. There are other types of events as well, for example, interviews with guest speakers.
All you need to do is register previously. In case you don't attend the webinar, you will be able to watch the replay after. However, you need to register as well to download the video because it is not available online.
Networking Events
Members of the Controllers Council communicate through an online forum. It's a space destinated for interacting, asking and answering questions. Another section available to meet other members is the "Member Directory". You can do basic or advanced searches by providing a keyword, location, group and country.
Content Library
The community has a specific section with resources open to all members. It has articles about trend topics in finance and accounting. It's possible to interact with the articles by leaving comments and including your personal information (name and email) for others to reach you.
Also, there is a Resource Directory with verified and qualified services, products, and companies. There are free whitepapers to download. Some of them are even whole books for you to learn from recent research. Videos from past webinars are also available on demand.
Courses/Cohorts
Once you become a member of the Controllers Council you have the possibility to access Continuing Professional Education (CPE) courses at 20% off (and other Free Courses) from their partner Illumeo. At the end of each course, you will receive a certification.
