Description
Designer Hangout was created by Jake Rogelberg to join UX designers and researchers who discuss trends, give advice, share stories, uncover insights, surface opportunities, and connect in-person and virtually in a dedicated spam-free community. This community allows you to build your career and expand your network through collaborative learning. For joining in, you need to apply and send your portfolio. Then you'll enter into a waiting list until the team manually reviews your application.
Members are carefully selected to maintain the quality of the community, but still, you can participate in the virtual events where world-class designers lead live Q&As even if you're not a part of it yet.
Once you get accepted, you can join the private Slack channels for free to exchange support and resources from your peers and be part of a local channel based on your location. There's also a job board available where you can find the next opportunity.
