My Support Forum is an online free community focused on providing support to people dealing with mental health issues. The community offers psychological support to help you cope with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, relationship problems, among others.
You can access the platform as a guest and view the community in its limited form. But once you register, you will be able to start interacting with others and participating in the full experience. Additionally, there is a huge list of different options when it comes to choosing what mental health issue you want to focus on. The community asks you to answer honestly so they can provide better help.
In the community's calendar, you will find other members' birthdays and other special events (such as Q&As with experts). These are usually open spaces to ask any question you would like to the expert. Additionally, there are six big topics to discuss in different online forums. Each category has plenty of subcategories to explore. For instance, you can go to the Mental Health Support forum and choose from 20 diverse subtopics. Some of them are addictions, anxiety, panic, and phobias.
Members commonly use the forums to ask questions, request advice, and interact with like-minded people going through similar issues. It's a supportive space to vent or to just find a friendly ear that is willing to listen.

The community offers a bi-monthly discussion on the forum "Anxiety and Depression Support". This is done every second Thursday at 8 PM EST, cohosted by two experienced moderators. It lasts an hour and is focused on answering questions or telling experiences related to anxiety and depression.
The community has a monthly Q&A session with Dr. John in the Auditorium chatroom. This event is open to discussing any issues related to mental health. People can join the meeting and ask questions that will be answered according to the order in which they are received. The only recommendation is to avoid writing to the doctor privately as the idea is to have a public discussion where he can focus on the attending audience.
In My Support Forums, there are two designated forums to socialize. The first one is called New Member Introductions and as its name states, it is used to introduce yourself and meet new community members.
The other is called General Social Chat and it has several subtopics: The Coffee House, Books, Movies, Music and TV Talk, and Our Pets. You can join any of these and interact with others who share similar interests. It's a very supportive space to meet like-minded people and make new friends.
The community has a library of psychological quizzes that you can take for free. If you do not know which quiz to take or if you actually need one, there is a test for you: Do I need therapy? Quiz.
