Description

ProductBuds is a global Slack community for aspiring and early career product managers. The community and learning programs are for students, recent grads, and professionals building a product management career.

They also offer a fellowship where US-based students and professionals are part of a mentorship program. It's an opportunity to develop your portfolio and prepare for job roles within the industry.

Members participate in virtual events where they follow industry programs and case studies to boost their analysis skills. You can join for free and access Slack channels with learning resources, interview preps, networking channels, and job opportunities. When spots are available, you can apply for a 5-week immersive program to learn how to conceptualize and pitch new product ideas.

Product Buds has a Protothon program designed for aspiring product managers and product designers. Requirements

You need to be a student, recent grad, or a professional working in the industry to participate in fellowship and Protothon programs. They have limited spots available, so you need to be updated with deadlines to apply.

Meetings

Members meet in virtual events and workshops where they discuss programs, share learning resources, and build their portfolios together. The Fellowship program offers the opportunity to join a small group of peers in 10-weeks sessions. You can also participate in bi-weekly live product case studies.

Learning Events

Product Buds hosts workshops and expert talks to facilitate guidance, resources, and tools for community members. You can also participate in the Product Splash 5-week immersive program to learn how to conceptualize and pitch new product ideas with peer collaboration and mentorship.

Networking Events

Members engage in Slack channels where they have the opportunity to discuss any topic of interest and make new connections.

Within the book club orientation, you'll find guidance and resources to improve your learning habits and successfully follow a study schedule.
