Freelancer Talk is a free community that gathers freelancers in the creative field in a single spot to network, learn, and scale their businesses.

The Freelancer Talk mobile app allows you to connect with diverse creatives worldwide. Inside the app, your personal profile will serve as a portfolio and CV. You will be able to showcase your best work via photos or videos. Additionally, you can share your resume and relevant experience, as well as a biography and links to your social media accounts.

This profile gets you exposure and allows you to get your work out there. Additionally, the app includes a job hub, where you can browse through different job postings to find your next career opportunity. Members can apply to these jobs by only using their personal profiles at the app.

Moreover, you can follow other members or send private messages to individual users. The app allows users to post their own updates in the feed and to reply to others' posts. Moreover, members use this space, along with the social groups inside the app, to give feedback, request advice, and celebrate wins. Social groups are simply smaller communities inside the app, where members discuss a specific topic.

All of these features are available in the free version of the app. You can upgrade to Freelancer Plus to access online meetups, and to have a personal blog inside your profile. Additionally, this membership tier allows you to post your own job offers and events to the platform. Coming soon is the Freelancer Pro membership, which will allow users to get access to in-person conferences and networking events for free.  Additionally, Freelancer Pro includes coaching opportunities, training, and online courses.

Learning Events

Freelancer Talks offers training and workshops to help freelancers build successful careers. Likewise, there are coaching options available if you need more personalized help. Both educational opportunities are available in the Freelancer Pro membership, which is paid.

Networking Events

Freelancer Talk has a free Facebook group where you can connect with other members. However, the networking power of the community resides in their mobile app.

The Freelancer Talk app (available both in Google Play and the Apple Store) allows you to network with other professionals and meet like-minded creatives. It works much like a social media app, you can follow other users and send private messages to members. The app also has a feed, where you can post your updates via photos, videos, or only text. Members commonly use this feature to ask for feedback or request advice from others.

Moreover, your profile at Freelancer Talk's app gets you exposure and allows you to access some interesting job opportunities. You can create an entire portfolio & CV in your profile, showcasing your best work using whether photos or videos. Your personal profile is an awesome place to show off your resume and experience, along with a biography and links to your social media accounts.

On the other hand, you can also network by using social groups inside that same app. There are different communities inside Freelancer Talk. They serve as a way to discuss different topics and connect with diverse types of creatives.

Additionally, Freelancer Talk host different online and in-person networking events. You can attend virtual Zoom meetups or larger events at a designated location. Freelancer Talk x Amsterdam, for example, is an event that includes speakers sharing their stories about freelancing, along with a discussion panel. Events like this one are awesome networking opportunities to build your professional network.

Lastly, through Freelancer Talk's app, members search and find work opportunities. As a member, you will be able to apply to job postings by using your profile as a resume. The Freelancer Plus membership allows creatives to set job alerts, as well as create their own job postings to hire other freelancers.

Those creatives who join the Freelancer Pro membership will have access to online courses to learn different aspects of the freelancing business.
